Akaash Bhatia has captured the Southern Area Championship and he is one of the best emerging fighters in England today.

Bhatia only had a brief amateur career and since turning professional he has been undefeated. Promoter Frank Maloney keeps ‘Kaash the Bash’ in form, he rarely goes more than three months between bouts.

Sony Entertainment Television honored Akaash’s achievements by crowning him Asia Sports Personality of the Year Award in 2007, an achievement that exploded the 25 year olds popularity in his native Sikh community of London.

While the University graduate is a model citizen outside the ring, recently becoming an ambassador for the Princes Trust, he's a nightmare for opponents inside the square circle. Akaash uses a combination of striking with a destructive, high volume style that mixes crafty, accurate combinations with shattering body attacks. It is this style, determination and commitment to the sport that has taken Bhatia to his current undefeated status and will no doubt take him further on the path to the ultimate title fight.
